The 15th Ádám György Castle Academy was held between the 22nd of July and 3rd of August 2024. in the Teleki-Wattay Castle in Pomáz. Young talents visited the piano academy form all over the world. Thanks to R&R Software’s scolarship, Hungarian students could also study on the course in 2024.
This year, Ákos Török won the R&R Software Scholarship and was able to participate in the 12-day course. Ákos wanted to be a pianist since he was very young, he loves music very much. He came with big dreams from a small village in Székelyföld. He began his music studies in modest circumstances, with fewer opportunities compared to many of his contemporaries, but his special talent showed itself at a very young age. In 2016, he participated in the Virtuosos classical music TV show, and then continued his studies at the Bartók Béla Conservatory. After graduating from the Conservatory, he was admitted to the Liszt Academy where he completed his bachelor’s studies this year.

Ákos shared his experiences about the Castle Academy:
“I am very grateful to have been able to participate in this year’s Ádám György Castle Academy. I was able to meet a lot of good people, make new friends, from whom I could learn so much in two weeks that I could write a book about it. It is uplifting to be in a community where there is no prejudice, where we help each other in everything. It was like a therapy camp for me. Every day I felt better and better, I felt all the kindness that surrounded me, the wounds healed.
I became very motivated, I want to see more of the world, continue my studies and enroll in a music university.”
We congratulate Ákos Török on his achievements so far and wish him much success in his future plans!
